The Solar System, Explained
A friendly tour of the planets, moons and the star at the middle of it all.
Which planet is closest to the Sun?
The animal kingdom is full of superlatives and surprises. Ten questions spanning the fastest, the largest and the strangest — with the why behind each.
The animal kingdom is stranger and more varied than any story could invent, from creatures that outweigh a bus to ones you need a microscope to see. This quiz travels across the branches of animal life, asking about the records, the oddities, and the everyday facts people usually get wrong. Each answer is explained so you come away understanding the why, not just the what, whether it is how an animal survives an extreme habitat or why one group is far larger than it looks. It is a quick, curious tour through the living world we share the planet with.
Every question in this quiz is listed below with its correct answer and the reasoning behind it. Play first if you would rather not see the answers — or read through as a study sheet.
